Request to Use E-mail Communication
31 March 2020
As a counter-measure against the epidemic of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), our firm temporarily implements flexible working arrangements such as teleworking and staggered working hours. Even though such working arrangements, at this moment, communications by telephone, facsimile, post, or courier service are processed by our personnel physically in our office and transferred to the person-in-charge.
However, once the Government of Japan issues stay-at-home order, no personnel would be able to physically work in our office, and such process of communications by telephone, facsimile, post, or courier service would be delayed. Therefore, instead of telephone, facsimile, post, or courier service, we would greatly appreciate if you use e-mail communication, as far as possible, addressed to;
– for legal matters, preferably directly to the person-in-charge;
– for patent matters, preferably to both the person-in-charge and email@example.com;
– for design and trademark matters, preferably to both the person-in-charge and firstname.lastname@example.org; or
– for accounting matters, preferably directly to the person-in-charge.
We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank for your cooperation and understanding.
