Holiday Notice: April 27 – May 6, 2019

Please note that the Japan Patent Office and the Intellectual Property High Court will be closed from April 27 (Saturday) to May 6 (Monday).   This term includes annual national holidays in addition to special holidays to celebrate the coronation of a new Japanese emperor.  Our office will also be closed on these dates. 

Our office will be open until April 26 (Friday), and open from May 7 (Tuesday), 2019. 

Please note that, in Japan, when a due date for filing a patent application or a response to an Official Action falls on a holiday, the due date will become the first working day after the holiday.  However, should there be any urgent matters, which require our immediate action, please let us have instructions or inquiries before April 26, 2019 (Japan time).
